Christopher Wolfe's book, The Rise of Modern Judicial Review has been named by the Wall Street Journal one of the five best books on the Constitution. Though the book was written before Spence Publishing was founded and so, alas, was not published by us, we still take credit for having an author of Professor Wolfe's caliber on our list. As Robert Bork writes:
Mr. Wolfe's critique of the court and the academic defenders of its activism defies easy summation precisely because of its comprehensiveness, erudition and analytical rigor.
